Our Signature Bib Shorts are made different. Early in their development, we realised materials already on the market didn’t measure up, so we created our own. With an intrinsic understanding of the technology involved, the fabric used on our Signature Bib Shorts is a perfect example of ashmei’s ground-up approach.

Woven rather than knitted, it contains a far higher degree of more expensive and flexible elastane. Start with a material that possesses the qualities you need, and making a great product becomes easier. Taking the list of qualities required from our shorts; a compressive fit, wind and water resistance, breathability, high opacity, and a minimum of superfluous details, rather than adding features, our design accomplishes these from the fibre upwards.

Also allowing us to laser-cut the legs for a seamless and unrestrictive fit, the Signature Bib Shorts use less to achieve more. Married to a bespoke high-density foam chamois and wide stay-flat straps, the result is a pair of shorts unlike any other.
